The Role of Administrative Coordinator
The Work Environment Unit is, together with the wellness team, the internal occupational health service of Region Jönköping County. As an administrative coordinator with us at the Work Environment Unit, you will be our expert in various administrative systems and methods.
Your responsibilities include providing administrative support to employees and management in various ways. You will be the hub of the unit, and you will develop the administrative work to ensure continuous improvement. You see what needs to be done and find new, smart ways of working.
Your tasks also include being the IT contact person and system administrator for several systems. You will also manage our shared phone, bookings, write journals from dictations, and handle the administration of our functional mailbox and incoming assignments.
The role may change and develop over time – both based on the needs of the organization and your own areas of interest.
The position is a permanent full-time employment during daytime hours on weekdays, located in Jönköping. There may also be opportunities to work remotely a few days a month. Start date is according to agreement.
Your Future Workplace
The Work Environment Unit is a centrally located function that belongs to the Regional Management Office. We at the Work Environment Unit assist all operations of Region Jönköping County with specialist expertise in work environment and rehabilitation, aiming to contribute to a good work environment, prevent work-related ill health, and contribute to a sustainable working life.
We are over 20 employees distributed across Eksjö, Jönköping, and Värnamo. In addition to administrative coordinators, work environment engineers, occupational therapists, ergonomists, company doctors, company nurses, psychologists, and business developers work with us. In Jönköping, we are located in the Ryhov area.
Your Profile
We are looking for someone with post-secondary education in administration or an education that we, as an employer, consider equivalent. We would like you to have experience in work with responsibilities and tasks similar to those of an administrative coordinator with us. We expect you to have good knowledge of the Swedish language in both speech and writing, as well as good IT skills. We would also appreciate experience with Region Jönköping County's document management system, Evolution. It is also an advantage if you are used to driving development projects.
You have a high service ability, and since you are our only administrator, you need to be good at working independently. You take the initiative and carry out what needs to be done. Team collaboration is an important part of our working method, and therefore cooperation and a good attitude are just as obvious to you as they are to us.
Structure and engagement are important to you, and you have a holistic perspective. Just like in many other organizations, situations can change at short notice with us. In such cases, you are flexible and can adapt and think anew. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
